Our expert instructors are dedicated to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for every participant, whether you're trotting along the trails or simply enjoying some quality time with our friendly horses.

What sets our horse experiences apart is their tailor-made nature. We understand that not everyone may be ready to mount a horse, especially younger guests. That's why we offer customised options that may include activities like pony exposure and gentle patting sessions, perfect for children or those who prefer a more relaxed interaction.

Booking your experience:

  1. When booking your stay at the cottage, select your desired dates.
  2. Add on the horse experience to your reservation.
  3. Call Eloise, our dedicated instructor, and inform her that you'll be staying at The Poplars Cottage. She will conduct a short phone consultation so she can better understand your skill level and requirements to create a personalised experience.
  4. Coordinate with Eloise to arrange a suitable date and make payment directly with her.
  5. A booking fee of $1 will be applied to cover the cost of the phone consultation.

  • Max 3 participants. Additional fees may apply for more customers, can be discussed on the phone consultation.
  • A horse experience session is NOT GUARANTEED even if you book the cottage. As it is subject to Eloises availability.

  • Your horse experience session is not confirmed until you have arranged a date directly with Eloise.
  • Availability for horse sessions is subject to Eloise's schedule, so it's essential to contact her directly to schedule your session.
  • The safety of our guests is our top priority. Therefore, The Poplars Farm Stay reserves the right to cancel or reschedule horse experience sessions due to inclement weather (such as rain, wind, heat, or storms), participants not adhering to safety instructions, inappropriate attire, or any other circumstances deemed necessary by our facilitators to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all involved.
